Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals/history, schedule appointments
• Sterilize instruments, prep treatment rooms, maintain clinical supply inventory
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect payments
• Maintain patient records in the EHR; answer phones and patient inquiries
• Coordinate referrals and support basic billing, liaising with the billing service
• Turn the rooms over in between patients and organizing/cleaning the rooms

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
• Warm, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
• Seeking a long-term, career-track role
• Comfortable learning our EHR/practice management software
• Familiarity with insurance verification and billing basics
• CMA or RMA credential

Bonus:

• X-ray experience or certification (or willingness to obtain if practice covers the cost)
