Interpreter/Translator
Accurate Communication
Looking for the Following languages: Fuzhounese, Fuzhou, Fukanese, Mandarin, Cantonese interpreter for People with Limited English Proficiency for different social services settings. Perform Interpreter duties at the home/domicile or residential setting for people with limited English Proficiency. Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Mingdong. Listen to complete statements in one language, translate to second, and translate responses from second into first language. Express either approximate or exact translation, depending on nature of occasion. Minimum Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Experience translating between Mingdong and English Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Fluency in both the Mingdong and English languages. Ability to read and write in both languages. Able to maintain strict confidentiality. Provide own reliable transportation to and from client site(s). Listening skills. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Walking, Sitting and Moving around.
