Senior Staff Accountant

What You'll Do Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements leveraging data from the general ledger and collaboration with other departments. Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by efficiently inputting, scheduling, and verifying data. Analyze and interpret financial information through comprehensive spreadsheets and detailed reporting. Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and manage general ledger files with precision. Oversee payments, accruals, and account assignments, ensuring accuracy in all reconciliations. Identify opportunities for improvement and develop refined accounting procedures. Research and interpret data to resolve financial and accounting inquiries effectively. Support mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial data, converting it for the general ledger system, and aiding in financial statement preparation. Protect sensitive financial information while adhering to confidentiality standards. Carry out additional related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance , or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate comfortably with all levels of management. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). Experience with Great Plains or Restaurant365 is an advantage. Proven ability to work independently with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
