Physician Pediatric Hospitalist - Competitive Salary

Specialty : Physician – Pediatric Hospitalist
Location : Athens, OH
Shift : 24/7 on-call coverage (round and go model with call from home)

Position Details:

Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
The team will consist of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists
24/7 on-call coverage -- round and go model with call from home
Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circumcisions
Patient Population: Pediatric and newborn patients
Setting: Inpatient hospital / newborn nursery
Responsibilities: Newborn nursery care, pediatric consultations for ED, circumcisions, inpatient rounding, collaborative care with neonatologists and hospitalists, participation in quality improvement initiatives
Required Procedures: Circumcisions and general pediatric hospitalist procedures
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: 3 Pediatric Hospitalists, Neonatology support from Pediatrix
Days Per Month: Approximately 7 shifts
On-Call/Weekends: 24/7 call coverage from home including weekends

Submission Requirements:

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
Ohio license (or willing to obtain)
DEA prior to start
NPDB Self Query (within 30 days)
Must not require visa support
