About the Role

The successful candidate will be a strategic, relationship-driven leader, responsible for advancing the organization's goals, expanding its reach, and strengthening its impact across agricultural and research communities. This role requires the ability to manage a diverse stakeholder group, oversee operational and financial responsibilities, and serve as the primary spokesperson and representative. The Executive Director will also be tasked with translating and communicating research findings to a broad audience, including growers, industry leaders, policymakers, and other key stakeholders. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should be energized by working in a lean organizational environment and passionate about agricultural research, education, and stewardship. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, program management, and external relations, with the ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution. Strong communication, relationship-building, and financial management skills are essential. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is expected, with a minimum of five years' progressive leadership experience, preferably within nonprofit organizations, associations, agricultural organizations, research institutions, or education-focused environments.
