Business Development Manager - Medical Manufacturing The Business Development Manager will spearhead the introduction of a new ultrasonic flow meter into targeted market segments, starting with Biopharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical. Responsibilities Develop the sales channel direct to end-users and onboard new channel partners Champion the product internally and externally Drive sales at key accounts Identify key applications within targeted end-markets Provide hands-on technical customer support Develop marketing collateral and drive the promotional strategy Understand and communicate the competitive landscape Continue to develop the differentiation and value proposition ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage key accounts Acquire & develop new customers / key accounts Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans Identify and penetrate new market segments & applications Provide monthly sales forecasts Be accountable for delivering the agreed-upon budget/plan sales/order number Training presentations (internal/customer/rep) Minimum of 50% travel (domestic) Other duties may be assigned. Travel: 50% domestic travel required, with flexible planning. Territory: No set territory; anywhere in the US to market this new product.
