Business Development Representative / Lead Generator

Strata Critical is a national provider of time-critical logistics and clinical services to the U.S. healthcare industry. We operate one of the largest air transport and surgical services networks for hospitals, transplant centers, and organ procurement organizations, offering an integrated "one call" solution for donor organ recovery. Our core services span transplant and cardiac surgical care. We provide air and ground logistics, surgical organ recovery, organ placement and normothermic regional perfusion for the transplant industry. We also deliver perfusion staffing, equipment solutions, and clinical support for cardiovascular surgery centers across the country.

We're looking for a motivated, resilient, and results-driven Business Development Representative to help fuel Strata Critical's continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys prospecting, connecting with new people, and creating opportunities that directly contribute to our mission. This position works closely with our Enterprise Sales Manager and Director of Business Development, playing a critical role in generating qualified opportunities and supporting our growing sales pipeline.

Location: Our Logisitics Hub is located at 4100 W. Galveston Street, Chandler, AZ 85226. The ideal candidate will reside within the Pacific, Mountain or Central timezone. Remote work opportunities are dependent on experience level. 
Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience PLUS commission opportunities of $20,000 to $30,000 a year

What You'll Do:

• Build the pipeline. Identify prospective accounts through market research, cold calling, direct outreach campaigns, and new market analysis — then keep that pipeline clean and current in our CRM.
• Do your homework. Research target organizations to tailor your messaging, then identify and engage the decision-makers and key stakeholders who actually move deals forward.
• Qualify and convert. Assess prospects against defined criteria (fit, need, interest, timing), handle early objections, articulate our value proposition, and secure new sales meetings with qualified leads.
• Hand off seamlessly. Partner with the Director of Business Development and the broader sales team to prep for secured meetings and transition accounts smoothly.
• Know the business. Work alongside our Operations team to deeply understand Strata Critical's service offerings, and bring leadership your ideas for new markets and outreach strategies.
• Own your numbers. Maintain KPIs across outreach, lead generation, meetings booked, and overall sales growth — and stay sharp through ongoing training and development.

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years in sales, lead generation, or marketing outreach (preferred), with a track record of driving results quickly.
• The ability to build instant rapport, you can pick up the phone with a stranger, earn their attention in the first 30 seconds, handle a no, and turn a cold conversation into a booked meeting.
• Strong research and analytical skills , with the ability to size up a market or account fast, find the angle, and adapt your approach in real time.
• Tech fluency, hands-on experience with CRM and outreach platforms, plus solid Google Suite (preferred) and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and organization , with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping details.
• A learner's mindset and strong character, eagerness to pick up medical terminology related to donation and transplantation, paired with integrity, initiative, and a team-first approach.

Work Environment

This is a full-time and we are open to in-office, hybrid or remote work depending on experience level . The role may require occasional travel. Because Strata Critical operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, occasional evening or weekend availability may be needed to support business initiatives.

• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Sit or stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Maintain reliable transportation
