Store Supervisor

The Store Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations, employee scheduling, inventory, and closing duties of the store. Key job responsibilities include meeting and exceeding sales goals set by the General Manager, managing employee schedules based on payroll hours, overseeing day-to-day store operations, handling cores and defects, managing shipping and receiving of merchandise, assembling and filling customer orders to be delivered within a 45-minute window, conducting inventory and cycle counts, scheduling contract drivers based on company business needs, answering customer questions and addressing complaints, performing store opening and closing duties, handling cash, cash counts and deposits, stocking and pulling parts, answering phones, keeping the store and front counter clean, maintaining a clean warehouse and providing a safe work environment, supervising one or more employees, assigning work duties as needed.

Requirements include a high school degree or GED, strong leadership and customer management abilities, a minimum of 3 to 4 years of working in a retail environment, a high level of motivation to provide superb customer service, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.

Environmental/occupational health and physical requirements include a typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
