Senior International Accountant
Location: Aliso Viejo, CA Payrate: $49/hr on w2 Vertical: Accounting & Finance Start date 09-14-2026 - End date 09-17-2027 Possible to extend Experience: 35+ Years
Job Summary: Responsible for international accounting operations, month-end/quarter-end/year-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and support for international subsidiaries while ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recurring accounting close activities.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close for international subsidiaries.
- Prepare intercompany and subsidiary journal entries.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support international statutory audits.
- Track intercompany loans and subsidiary payments.
- Reconcile international sales between ERP and third-party logistics reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Required Skills:
- 35+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong accounting principles and US GAAP knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- International/subsidiary accounting experience.
- Intercompany accounting experience.
- Experience with external auditors and outsourced providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Preferred:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud experience.
- Experience with automation, analytics, or machine learning.
- Process improvement experience.
