Benefits Eligible Date of Hire. Reports to Community Services Manager. Located at City Center (8080 Mitchell Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55344). Typical hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; may vary based on business need. Responsibilities Administers the loan application process, meeting with prospective homeowners, ensuring documents are signed and completed, conducting title searches, arranging City Inspector visits, and maintaining files according to retention schedule. Coordinates loan subordination for clients refinancing or taking a home equity loan; works with contractors to ensure timely completion and payment. Reviews applications to ensure eligibility, prepares financial documents, manages money transfers for closing, conducts RFP processes, and prepares documentation for City Council approval. Conducts on-site audits of funded agencies to ensure compliance with local and federal requirements, tracks spending and services to meet city expectations. Develops and maintains relationships with community partners, creates educational material, monitors community trends, and conducts research to identify needed programs and resources. Promotes collaboration among service providers and property managers, offers resolution strategies, and connects residents to community service providers. Provides timely and accurate customer service and support to the division and department. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum of three years of relevant work experience. Experience with finance, grant management, loan processing, and/or mortgage applications preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Physical effort light; lifting up to 25 pounds intermittently. Must successfully complete City pre‑employment evaluation (reference checks, background check, work history, education verification).
