System Administrator / Network AdminDuration: 12 months with possibility of extension Location: Trenton, NJThis position requires the candidate be available to work in a hybrid capacity (3 days per week in the office and 'as needed' for special situations).The project is the support of Division applications. Installs, configures, operates, and maintains computer hardware, software, and related infrastructure. As a System Admin the candidate will perform advanced technical and application support functions including:Perform knowledgebase documentation with a focus on Division Infrastructure needs and changesParticipate in team meetings with a focus on internal operational needs, issues, and solutionsPerform Active Directory management for on premises and cloud solutionsPerform Distributed File System structure on premises and cloud environmentsProvide tier 2 and tier 3 trouble ticket support for DDD operational equipment (PCs, printers, network devices, and services)Provide tier 2 and tier 3 trouble ticket support for DDD workstations, printers and other network devicesDocument tier 2 and tier 3 ticket solutions for DDD core applicationsDocument tier 2 and tier 3 ticket solutions for DDD workstations, printers and other network devicesInstall, configure, and upgrade Division COTS and SaaS applicationsPerform Hardware ProvisioningPerform Technology and Equipment Inventory TrackingPerform GPO ManagementInstall and configure servers and virtual machinesPerform advanced network device configuration and installationAnalyze, enhance, and ensure network securityPerform backup and restore processesKeep server and network equipment patched and updatedThis role will report through the IT Operations Manager.
