Travel RN – Emergency Department (7P–7A)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4–5, adjusting as needed based on patient acuity
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients presenting with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis needs, and hypertension
• Operate GE monitors and standard ED equipment while documenting care accurately in Meditech EHR
• Float to like assignments as required by unit needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from facility to qualify for travel placement
• No call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EHR system strongly preferred
• Team-oriented, engaged, and positive attitude with ability to adapt in a fast-paced emergency environment
