Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you flexibility while providing care. Our office operates with a patient-centered philosophy, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration among professionals from various disciplines. The standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs, ensuring that we are always accessible to those seeking support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and devise personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver targeted interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions that address common mental health issues, fostering a sense of community and shared experience among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering support during mental health emergencies and ensuring patient safety.
\n
• Educate patients on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, who present with various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to provide specialized care to individuals facing depression, anxiety, and substance use issues while implementing treatment approaches tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and collaboratively develop effective treatment strategies.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to diverse populations in various settings.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain sound judgment and adherence to professional ethics.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing documentation and patient tracking processes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
