Busy Long Island law firm seeks part-time employee to join its clerical staff. The position requires performing a variety of basic office tasks, including data entry, filing, scanning, faxing, and general administrative support. Candidates must be able to organize daily work efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-5:00 PM
Responsibilities and Duties
- File documents upon receipt.
- Scan and fax documents
- Retrieve documents from the fax drive
- Aid in preparing materials for meetings
- Maintain stock levels of office materials and supplies
- Maintain and organize office files and records
- Process daily mail
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
- Occasionally perform local errands.
Qualifications and Skills
- Administrative Assistant or general office experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer and office equipment proficiency.
- Reliable, professional, and dependable demeanor.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Dress Code: Business casual
Salary commensurate with experience.
