Receptionist & Shipping Representative Backup
Location: Amelia, Ohio Area
Position Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Shift: 1st shift 8:30am to 5pm Mon-Friday
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receptionist & Shipping Representative Backup to join our team in the Amelia, Ohio area. This multifaceted role serves as the first point of contact for our facility while providing critical support to our logistics and accounting departments. The ideal candidate is a multitasker who can balance administrative duties with high-volume shipping coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Administration
- Customer Relations: Professionally answer incoming phone calls and provide a warm welcome to suppliers and customers visiting the facility.
- General Admin: Maintain organized filing systems, manage office supply inventory, and prepare end-of-week checks for the post office.
Wurth Order Management & Logistics
- Order Entry: Accurately enter daily orders into the Wurth Portal.
- Documentation: Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and generate FedEx shipping labels as required.
- Communication: Provide daily delivery counts to warehouse and update tracking information within the portal.
- Invoicing: Process invoices for Wurth orders upon completion.
Operational Backup
- Provide essential support to the Customer Service, Shipping, and Accounting departments.
- Assist with scheduling freight pickups and managing additional invoicing needs during peak times or staff absences.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and navigating online portals.
- Previous experience with shipping documentation (BOLs, tracking) preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
