Chatham Oral Surgery in Savannah, GA is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Oral Surgery Scheduler & Onsite Phone Specialist to manage surgical scheduling and serve as a primary point of contact for incoming calls. ( PLUS IF YOU HAVE DENTAL ASSISTANT BACKGROUND) This role is essential to delivering an excellent patient experience while keeping the surgical schedule running efficiently. What You'll Do
- Schedule oral surgery procedures accurately and efficiently
- Manage provider schedules and surgical blocks
- Answer incoming calls professionally and confidently
- Educate patients on scheduling, procedures, and next steps
- Maintain an active ASAP / short-call list
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment plans
- Coordinate with clinical and front desk teams
- Maintain accurate records in the practice management system
- Dental or oral surgery scheduling experience preferred
- Strong phone presence and communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar systems a plus
- Professional, patient-first mindset
- Supportive team environment
