JK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with a leading local packaging, design, and logistics company in search of a Project Manager to join its team!

The Project Manager will lead strategic, cross-functional business initiatives from initial planning through implementation while also directly contributing to the work required to move each project forward. This hands-on role blends project leadership with individual execution, including conducting research, analyzing data, building spreadsheets, preparing reports, drafting documentation, and completing other project-related deliverables.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, resourceful self-starter who can balance big-picture strategy with detailed tactical execution. This individual will manage timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder communication while independently addressing challenges and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects from initial requirements definition through implementation, establishing clear objectives, scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and execution plans.
• Translate project goals into actionable workplans and personally execute project-related deliverables, including research, data analysis, spreadsheet development, reporting, documentation, and operational tasks.
• Establish and maintain effective project-management processes, tools, and tracking systems to manage scope, quality, performance, timelines, dependencies, and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal and external resources, clearly defining responsibilities and monitoring progress to support project efficiency and maximizing deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, serving as the primary day-to-day contact regarding project status, priorities, decisions, and changes.
• Provide regular, clear updates to management and team members regarding project progress, outcomes, risks, roadblocks, and dependencies.
• Anticipate potential challenges, independently resolve issues when possible, and coordinate with the appropriate team members when additional support is needed.
• Organize and maintain project files, documentation, status reports, and tracking tools to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
• Lead pre-production and post-production project reviews, documenting lessons learned and identifying opportunities to strengthen future workflows and business processes.
• Develop measurable key performance indicators to evaluate project outcomes and the success of critical growth initiatives.
• Support cost-reduction, process-improvement, and operational-efficiency efforts across assigned projects.
• Adapt quickly as priorities, timelines, and project needs evolve, shifting effectively between project leadership and focused individual execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• Project management certification preferred.
• Experience leading projects from planning through execution while personally contributing to project deliverables.
• Proficiency with standard business productivity tools, including spreadsheet, presentation, and document-management applications.
• Experience with project-management software and tracking tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
• Excellent decision-making, analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to balance operational, financial, and strategic considerations.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and follow projects through to completion.
• Flexibility and adaptability in managing changing priorities, responsibilities, and deadlines.

Salary Range

• $80,000-100,000
