Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via telehealth or in-person, focusing on personal, relational, and family dynamics.

• Facilitate group therapy in our outpatient office, addressing issues such as anger management, social skills development, and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to support clients in overcoming high-risk behaviors and enhancing their decision-making skills.

• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and liaise with other healthcare professionals involved in client care to ensure comprehensive support.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to measure client outcomes.

• Participate in monthly professional meetings, contributing to discussions and submitting recommendations for practice improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and families dealing with various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in California.

• Flexible availability, with a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week, particularly during after-school hours (4-7 PM).

• Skills in providing positive behavior support and managing challenging behaviors effectively.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a registered vehicle for home visits, as required.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with two years of experience in providing therapeutic support, particularly within outpatient settings. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and experience in implementing wellness models will be advantageous in this role.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000 annually, depending on experience and caseload capacity.
