About the Opportunity
Lang Recruiting is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to hire an NC Operator . This hands-on role is responsible for machining precision components to customer specifications while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity.
If you're experienced with CNC equipment, comfortable reading blueprints, and enjoy working in a team-oriented production environment, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop orders, routers, and work instructions.
- Enter and verify machining information in CNC equipment.
- Select and utilize the proper tooling and equipment for each job.
- Load and unload materials while safely operating machining equipment.
- Read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Move materials throughout the facility using carts, hand trucks, or hoists.
- Meet daily production and quality goals.
- Follow all safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong math and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing quality standards.
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety and productivity.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
- Safely operate machining equipment and material handling equipment.
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility where temperatures may fluctuate depending on the season. Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots, is required.
