Registered Nurse - PICU

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN

Seeking a specialized Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN for transport services involving flight and mobile transfers. The ideal candidate will possess active licensure and experience in neonatal and pediatric patient transport, including flight experience.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient transfers via flight, rotor, or ground transportation under physician guidance.
• Operate within a team comprising an RN and RT, ensuring safe and efficient patient transport.
• Complete necessary training, including flight safety and Epic documentation, prior to assignment.
• Adhere to compliance requirements, including licensing, background checks, and orientation modules.
• Communicate effectively with receiving facilities, transport team members, and physicians.
• Maintain readiness for flexible scheduling, including night shifts and weekends.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Oregon RN license or verified application with fingerprinting.
• Demonstrate minimum one year of RN experience, preferably in pediatric or critical care settings.
• Possess flight transfer experience or mobile patient transfer expertise.
• Be able to obtain an Oregon 90-day temporary RN license if not currently licensed.
• Have current Epic EMR system proficiency.
• Pass background checks with no felony convictions.
