Desktop Support Analyst

OverviewWe are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. This position is ideal for an early-career IT professional with 1-2 years of experience providing desktop support, service desk assistance, PC deployment, and end-user technical support. The successful candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced enterprise environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and Microsoft 365 related issues.Support end users through phone, email, ticketing systems, remote support tools, and in-person interactions.Assist with PC deployments, workstation setups, hardware replacements, upgrades, and equipment refresh initiatives.Perform software installations, updates, and basic system configurations.Document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system.Escalate complex technical issues to senior support teams when appropriate.Maintain a high level of customer service while supporting users across the organization.Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including workstation preparation and user setup.Support basic printer, connectivity, and peripheral device troubleshooting.Required Qualifications1-2 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, service desk, or end-user support.Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems, PC hardware, and common software applications.Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and support.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively with users of varying technical skill levels.Experience working with ticketing systems and documenting support activities.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsCompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent technical certification.Experience with PC imaging, deployment, and hardware refresh projects.Exposure to Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, or endpoint management tools.Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.Technical EnvironmentWindows 10/11Microsoft 365Desktop and Laptop HardwarePrinters and PeripheralsTicketing SystemsRemote Support ToolsMicrosoft Office ApplicationsBasic Networking and Connectivity TroubleshootingAdditional Information100% onsite position.Excellent opportunity for a junior-level IT professional looking to expand their technical skills and grow within a supportive IT organization.Strong communication skills, customer service mindset, and willingness to learn are critical for success in this role.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
