Intake Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Intake Attorney in Longwood, Florida. This role involves engaging with prospective clients, providing legal guidance, and building trust to facilitate client retention. The position is central to the firm's growth, focusing on evaluating potential cases and advising clients during initial interactions. Duties Speak directly with prospective clients to explain the legal process and assist in decision-making. Establish credibility and trust quickly through legal knowledge and professionalism. Follow up on pending calls and unsigned retainers, ensuring timely communication. Coordinate with leadership and attorneys to ensure efficient case onboarding. Document all conversations and case assessments accurately in the intake system. Partner with the Under Review team to evaluate potential personal injury cases. Review police reports and other materials to inform case assessments. Exercise independent legal judgment for real-time case acceptance decisions. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active member of a state Bar in good standing. 1+ years experience managing a high-volume caseload or intake pipeline. Familiarity with client intake and case management platforms preferred. Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active member of a state Bar in good standing. Skills Strong legal knowledge and communication skills.
