Sr Regional Oncology Specialist - North Jersey

Abbott seeks a Senior Regional Oncology Specialist to drive product utilization and sales across North Jersey territories. The role involves developing strategic account plans, building customer relationships, and delivering clinical expertise for precision oncology diagnostic products within a competitive healthcare market.

Responsibilities

• Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives through regular field-based provider engagement and account management activities
• Develop new accounts and deepen market penetration within existing high-value oncology accounts
• Create and execute strategic territory plans aligned with corporate objectives and product key messages
• Maintain technical fluency in genomic testing, precision oncology products, and competitive landscape to influence physician behavior
• Foster relationships with national opinion leaders in oncology and pathology across assigned territory

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in sales, business, marketing, science, or related field; or 4+ years relevant experience
• 5+ years medical sales experience with demonstrated success in complex oncology or diagnostics products
• 3+ years specialty medical sales in buy & bill, devices, or clinical areas such as urology or cardiology
• 3+ years selling experience in highly competitive environments
• Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle history (no suspensions, max two violations in 36 months)
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Compensation: $86,700–$173,300 base
