ED/VP - Medical Science & Strategy - Oncology(Mandarin Proficiency)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Executive Director/VP of Medical Science & Strategy for its oncology clinical research division. The role combines strategic business development, proposal support, and medical leadership to drive growth in the PPD clinical research portfolio, requiring extensive oncology industry experience and Mandarin proficiency.

Responsibilities

Drive quality input into requests for proposals, including strategy, regulatory, drug class and protocol considerations
Engage clients at peer level on therapeutic strategy and support bid defenses with senior medical leadership
Provide indication-specific training and guidance to internal clinical teams during trial execution
Author and review regulatory documents including Investigator Brochures and NDA/MAA clinical packages
Mentor clinical scientists and participate in multidisciplinary innovation initiatives

Requirements

MD or equivalent medical degree
Certified oncologist with 5+ years pharmaceutical industry experience
Led clinical development of at least one asset from discovery through registration
Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin
Ability to work in matrix organizations and influence cross-functional teams
Strong presentation and complex communication skills
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Compensation: $200,000–$400,000 base
