Bilingual Logistics Coordinator

Job Description A well established logistics company is looking for potential candidates in multiple positions to grow with the company. A Bilingual Logistics Coordinator fluent in Chinese or Spanish (or another language) is responsible for managing logistics operations, ensuring smooth transportation, and maintaining compliance with regulations. Key duties include coordinating shipments, managing documentation, communicating with international teams and vendors, resolving logistical issues, analyzing logistics data, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities : Logistics Coordination : Oversee the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Ensure timely and accurate shipment and delivery of goods. Communication : Serve as a liaison between Chinese, Spanish-speaking, and other international teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure clear and effective communication across all channels. Documentation and Compliance : Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations. Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations. Vendor Management : Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other third-party logistics providers to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve any issues that arise. Problem Solving : Quickly address and resolve any logistical issues or delays to minimize disruptions in the supply chain. Data Analysis and Reporting : Monitor and analyze key logistics metrics, such as shipping costs, delivery times, and inventory levels, to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes. Customer Service : Provide outstanding customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, providing updates on shipment statuses, and resolving any issues. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with the sales, production, and procurement teams to align logistics activities with business objectives. Requirements : Language Proficiency : Fluency in Chinese or Spanish (or another relevant language) is required; proficiency in English is a plus. Education : Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Experience : 2 plus years of experience in logistics - land and ocean transportation. We will consider fresh graduated student. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong Organizational Skills : Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly assess problems and develop practical solutions. Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy in managing documentation and data entry. Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-cultural teams. Preferred Qualifications : Experience in international logistics, import/export, or customs clearance.
