Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to develop effective treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including exercise regimens, hands-on therapeutic techniques, and specialized equipment to address patients' unique needs.
• Monitor and document treatment progress, adapting therapy methods as necessary to meet evolving patient goals.
• Implement individualized treatment strategies designed to maximize patient functionality and mobility.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families on home care practices and the use of assistive devices, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, reviewing literature, and participating in professional networks to stay current with the latest physical therapy advancements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate holistic patient care and address any emerging patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
