Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced production assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently assemble units based on blueprints and utilize a variety of tools to fasten parts together. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure components fit closely and operate correctly.

Responsibilities

• Position parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled or blueprint.

• Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners with hand, air, and/or power tools.

• Remove small quantities of metal to ensure close fit between parts.

• Operate machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations as specified.

• Assist in the instruction and training of others.

• Lift 20-50 lbs as needed.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience, including heavy lifting and assembly work.

• Proficiency with hand power tools.

• At least 6 months of manufacturing, construction, farming, or automotive experience.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience in conducting quality checks using calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly.

Work Environment

Work the first shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm from $18-$19.60, depending upon experience. The facility is clean and requires steel-toe shoes. Enjoy a supportive and safe work environment with opportunities to work alongside a dedicated team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnson Creek, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $20.96/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
