Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Surgery (Med Surg) specialty, located in St. Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing inpatient medical-surgical patient care utilizing the nursing process while adhering to established clinical standards and facility policies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: St. Louis, Missouri
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (Med Surg)
• Shift: Nights, 1900-0730 (12 hours shifts)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours, must be indicated on submission form
• Required Qualifications: Current RN License (meets criteria for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri), BLS from AHA only, 1 year Med Surg inpatient experience, current immunizations including flu vaccination or Mercy approved exemptions (from November 1-April 1)
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS from AHA only
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with the facilitys mission and standards. The role involves physical demands including standing, walking, lifting, and turning patients, with exposure to blood and body fluids. Must be available for entire week orientation, with flexibility for schedule changes, and adherence to safety and dress code standard practices.
