Location: Petoskey, Michigan - scenic waterfront community with a welcoming Northern Michigan feel Employment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: On-site OB/GYN and women\'s health care Start Date: August 15, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts Schedule: Weekday clinic coverage with weekday night call and 24-hour weekend call Estimated Weekly Pay: $9,030-$10,690 Openings: 2 Typical Volume: Approximately 6-8 outpatient visits per day and 1-2 deliveries daily Support Staff: Two nurse practitioners supporting the OB/GYN care team EHR: Cerner OB/GYN Physician Qualifications Board certification in OB/GYN required Active Michigan medical license required Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN experience required Demonstrated experience with prenatal care, labor and delivery, vaginal deliveries, C-sections (cesarean deliveries), and VBAC care Cerner EHR experience preferred Current NPDB (National Practitioner Data Bank) report from the last 30 days required for presentation Local candidates required OB/GYN Physician Responsibilities Provide outpatient OB/GYN clinic coverage and high-quality women\'s health care Manage prenatal visits, routine obstetric care, and follow-up appointments Perform and support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBAC care as clinically appropriate Participate in weekday night call and 24-hour weekend call coverage Collaborate with nurse practitioners and the care team to support continuity of care Maintain clear communication and a patient-centered approach throughout clinic and call coverage Benefits GHR Healthcare offers 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision to Employees.
