Gain exposure to complex financial reporting and reconciliation processes.Job DescriptionSenior Fund Accountant OverviewThe Senior Fund Accountant role focuses on managing daily fund operations and financial reporting for private equity and hybrid funds.Collaborate with external fund administrators to ensure accurate accounting and reporting practices.Analyze financial data, perform reconciliations, and support fund business activities.Contribute to compliance with fund governing documents and investment management agreements.Engage in detailed reviews of NAVs, investment positions, and transaction accuracy.Prepare and validate management fees and waterfall calculations for fund compliance.Support ILPA-compliant reporting, capital call notices, and investor statements.Work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth.Senior Fund Accountant Key Responsibilities & DutiesReview NAVs prepared by external fund administrators for private equity funds.Verify investment positions and ensure transaction accuracy across portfolios.Analyze fund governing documents to ensure proper application of terms.Validate management fees and waterfall calculations for compliance.Monitor investment transactions and prepare portfolio track records.Review ILPA-compliant capital call notices and investor reports.Perform carried interest allocation and analytics on movement.Prepare ad-hoc reporting and deliverables as required.Senior Fund Accountant Job RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance required.3-7 years of fund accounting or audit experience in private equity.CPA or CA certification is mandatory for this role.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.Strong organizational and communication skills to work across levels.Detail-oriented with a solutions-based approach to problem-solving.Knowledge of private equity and hedge fund industry is required.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment.
