Registered Nurse WDH Critical Care Unit FT

Site Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Job Summary Night Shift 5:30 pm – 6:00 am, 3‑12 hr shifts. Night Differential: $8.00/hr, Evenings: $5.00/hr, Weekends: $4.00 additional. Essential Functions Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. Record patients’ medical information and vital signs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred. Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse (RN) – State License (Basic Life Support BLS required). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. Experience Clinical nursing experience: 1 year required, 2 years preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with practical nursing principles and skills for patient care and treatment. Knowledge of the care required for respective age groups. Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information. Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
