Patient Care Representatives are responsible for maintaining a friendly, professional environment as the first and last point of contact for our patients. They must be polite, attentive, and organized to enhance the overall patient experience. Essential Job Functions Greet and direct all patients, visitors, and staff upon entry. Monitor the reception areas throughout the day and provide assistance as needed. Verify insurance coverage for patients. Provide a pleasant, prompt check‑in experience by verifying necessary information and assisting with questions about patient questionnaires and forms. Print the daily team/physician schedules as needed. Attend to walk‑in patients, scheduling inquiries, and prescription/record pick‑up. Disseminate pertinent information using telephone systems and/or computer software. Cross‑check and update next‑day charts according to the appointment schedule. Maintain an orderly and pleasing workspace that ensures integrity and safety for patients and staff. Make appointment confirmation calls based on the patient appointment schedule. Collect any necessary co‑payments, non‑covered service fees, and/or existing account balances during the patient check‑out period. Fill out essential reports and forms as requested. Competencies Demonstrated knowledge of material, methods, instruments, and equipment. Read, write, and perform mathematical calculations. Follow oral and written instructions. Multi‑task, work in a fast‑paced environment, and manage time to meet deadlines and requirements. Education and Experience High school diploma. Prior experience in a customer service role. Ability to work under pressure and respond to patient requests positively. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Full‑time position located in Wildwood, FL. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with occasional overtime.
