Company Profile Our client specializes in the equipment leasing market and offers a range of financial solutions to their clients, including operating leases and equipment finance agreements for companies unable to secure traditional financing. They have an established presence and are looking to expand on their team with a Business Development Representative focused on selling within the C-suite at $100m+ organizations. Job Description The Business Development Representative must be comfortable with prospecting, qualifying inbound leads and cold leads and driving additional outbound efforts through networking, referrals and cold-calling. Partner with Account Managers to learn the equipment leasing and financing business through hands‑on experience and weekly training sessions. Support deal progression activities including scheduling appointments, collecting financial packages, and working on active deals while developing foundational sales skills. Requirements 2–10+ years of demonstrated business development success, in a B2B environment, ideally SaaS or Finance. Must be willing to commit to the BDR position for a full 12 months before being considered for promotion to Account Manager, with daily in‑office attendance required. Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred and be comfortable discussing financial concepts. Location This is an office‑based work environment where candidates will report daily to an Orange County, CA based office.
