Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse (PCU) travel assignment in a hospital setting in Atlanta, GA, starting 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,728–$1,790 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. This assignment involves float duties across PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac population.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult cardiac patients on PCU/IMCU floors; float to all PCU/IMCU units as needed
- Monitor cardiac status, administer and titrate cardiac medications, and manage telemetry; respond to alarms and changes in patient condition
- Administer prescribed medications, including cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine) and vasopressors, per protocol
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans, document in the EPIC EMR, and educate patients and families
- Support safe patient handoffs, discharge planning, and continuity of care in a fast-paced cardiology environment

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a facility with comparable acuity
- BLS and ACLS required
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Cardiac care experience with telemetry and familiarity with common cardiac medications and drips
- Ability to float to multiple PCU/IMCU floors and work night shifts (2x3 Nights)
