Role Description The Restaurant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Tallahassee, FL. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, including managing shifts, supervising Associates, and ensuring consistent, high-quality guest service. The manager monitors food safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards, and helps control inventory, labor, and other costs to meet performance goals. This role also involves training and coaching team members, supporting hiring and onboarding, and handling basic administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting. The manager works closely with leadership to implement company policies, uphold Waffle House culture, and create a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment. Qualifications Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, including shift management and team supervision. Skills in customer service and conflict resolution, with the ability to create positive guest experiences. Basic knowledge of food safety, cleanliness standards, and health regulations in a restaurant setting. Ability to manage scheduling, inventory, and labor costs to support operational efficiency. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for training, coaching, and leading diverse teams. Comfort working in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment with flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, hospitality, or related fields is beneficial.
