Requisition ID: 5050ERP Eligible?: YesRelocation: PossibleType: ExemptShift: 1Clearance Prior to Start: NoneFinal Clearance: SecretPay Transparency: $98,100.00 - $182,100.00Experience Level: Experienced ProfessionalFT/PT/Casual: FullTimeDepartment: MFC-PrimaryBusiness Unit: MFC-PrimaryStandard Job DescriptionYou will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer for the Hardware Engineering team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). Our team designs, develops and fields precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, delivering high reliability circuit card assemblies (CCAs) that power missiles, sensors and other mission critical subsystems.What You Will Be DoingAs the Circuit Card Design Engineer you will own the end to end creation of CCAs—from architecture and schematic capture through EPCAD layout, prototype build up and test. You will partner with systems, electromechanical, firmware/software and manufacturing groups to ensure every design meets performance, environmental and security requirements while keeping the program on schedule. Your responsibilities will include• Lead architecture, schematic capture and EPCAD layout for CCAs supporting missile and sensor subsystems.• Define, refine and document system, performance, interface and environmental requirements.• Conduct trade study analyses of alternate design approaches and recommend optimal implementations.• Perform circuit simulation and analysis using Cadence PSpice (or equivalent) to validate functionality and margins.• Capture schematics in Siemens Xpedition Enterprise and collaborate with EPCAD to produce robust layout and signal routing solutions.• Deliver complete design assurance packages—including data, evidence and compliance reports—for senior review.• Work closely with systems, electromechanical, firmware/software and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and testing.• Manage bill of materials, part sourcing and prototype build up activities, driving cost effective parts selection.• Verify that designs meet shock, vibration, radiation and other environmental qualification standards.Why Join UsDo you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university; Master’s degree preferred• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in circuit design engineering or a related discipline• Demonstrated experience with circuit card design, integration, and test for one or more of the following: digital electronics, power electronics, analog/mixed-signal, or FPGA-based processor boards• Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture• Experience with Cadence PSpice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis• Experience with signal integrity tools such as Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx or equivalent• Experience with developing and refining system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements for circuit card designs• Must be a US Citizen; must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearanceDesired Skills• Experience with MFC circuit card design processes and the Design Assurance process• Experience with military standards and specifications, including MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704• Experience with Xilinx/AMD FPGA families (UltraScale, Versal)• High-speed design experience including PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet, SERDES, or DDR4/5 memory interfaces• MATLAB experience for analysis and simulation• Experience with MOSA (Modular Open Systems Architecture) and WOSA (Weapon Open Systems Architecture)• Experience with CAMEO or equivalent requirements management tools• Experience with rigidflex circuit card design• Experience with environmental qualification testing (vibration, shock, thermal, radiation)• Demonstrated effective communication skills• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
