Business Systems Analyst

DescriptionWe are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to support operational improvements and business process clarity for a customer-focused environment in Oakland, California. This role partners with stakeholders to evaluate current workflows, define practical solutions, and translate business needs into clear documentation for delivery teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, experience working in service-driven settings, and the ability to contribute effectively within Agile Scrum teams.Responsibilities:Partner with business teams, IT, and vendors to deliver application solutions from planning through launch.Develop deep knowledge of assigned systems and business processes.Analyze needs, identify solutions, and provide strategic recommendations.Advocate for user needs to ensure successful product outcomes.Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.Coordinate with technical teams on integrations and system functionality.Configure, maintain, and support enterprise applications.Manage testing, deployments, upgrades, and migrations.Serve as a key liaison between business, IT, leadership, and vendors.Foster teamwork, collaboration, and continuous product improvement.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Analytics, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience).8+ years in business systems analysis, product support, or technology delivery.Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, CRM, ERP, and workflow tools.Background in AI, automation, chatbots, intelligent agents, or similar technologies.Global organization experience preferred.Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and other SDLC methodologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Skilled at stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.Familiar with project management practices and productivity tools such as Excel, Word, and Smartsheet.Job typePerm
