As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in New Albany, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This is a driving post. You will also support access activity and deliver outstanding customer service while working with an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, badge and access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, exterior areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and support visitor management processes in accordance with post orders and other security-related policies.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol findings, and daily activities, and support Allied Universal leadership with requested updates and/or follow-up information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
