Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical Surgical Nurse at CHI Williston Health, you'll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.

Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others - with a patient-first mindset. Keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency support your career advancement and you thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment where you will rarely experience the same day twice.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• Associate's Degree in Nursing

Required Licensure and Certifications

• Registered Nurse: North Dakota or compact RN license (RN:ND), Required Upon Hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), Required Upon Hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Required within 6 months of start.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Required within 6 months of start.

In our Critical Access Hospital, you will be exposed to the emergency department, acute care (Med/Surg), swing bed, surgery, outpatient treatment, and so much more!
