The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans, assisting with daily living and therapeutic activities, responding to crisis situations, and providing CPR and First Aid when needed.

Pay Rate: $20.10 per hour Pay Range $21.10 Hourly to $21.10 Hourly
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, supervision, and well-being of individuals in a residential program.
- Implement individualized treatment, habilitation, educational, and behavioral support plans.
- Assist with daily living skills, personal care, recreation, and community participation.
- Document progress, incidents, and daily activities per program requirements.
- Administer medications after required certification (CMT in MD, TME in DC).
- Prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Respond to emergencies, crises, and behavioral incidents using approved procedures.
- Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
- Maintain communication with supervisors regarding resident needs and incidents.
- Participate in training, meetings, and professional development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
- Problem-solving and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to build professional relationships with individuals, families, and staff.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of person-centered care and behavioral support.
- Medical database management experience.
- High school diploma/GED plus 1 year experience in developmental disabilities or autism support (or related caregiving experience)
- Associate degree in Human Services or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
