The treatment environment is designed to encourage collaboration among practitioners, ensuring that patients benefit from a holistic approach to their rehabilitation journey.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of assigned patients to determine their physical therapy needs and establish measurable treatment goals.Implement individualized treatment programs utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes across various rehabilitation scenarios.Deliver goal-directed therapy sessions using both manual techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's rehabilitation progression.Foster open communication with patients to explain their treatment plans, address concerns, and motivate them through their recovery journey.Work closely with other healthcare practitioners and community resources to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, scheduling interdisciplinary meetings as required.Actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the practice.Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice, maintaining a strong ethical standard in alignment with the APTA's Code of Ethics.Perform administrative duties including updating patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies.Patient Population / Client FocusAt Rethink Counseling Center, our patient demographic includes individuals of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, requiring rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, surgical recoveries, neurological conditions, and more. Our therapists are skilled in addressing diverse needs and tailoring treatment modalities to engage and empower all patients, ensuring a thorough client-centered approach.QualificationsDoctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.Current State of New Jersey licensure as a Physical Therapist.A minimum of two years of proven experience in providing diverse physical therapy services in a clinical setting.Strong knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and practices.Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Ability to assess and interpret age-specific data relevant to treatment plans for various life stages.Preferred ExperienceExperience in a private practice or rehabilitation center.Keen interest in continuing education within physical therapy, particularly concerning the latest evidence-based practices.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, contributing positively to group dynamics.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
