You will work in a modern clinic setting alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive evaluations for patients with orthopedic conditions, utilizing appropriate assessment tools to gather relevant history and diagnose problems effectively.Collaborate with patients and their families to develop clear, achievable goals based on evaluation findings, ensuring all parties are informed throughout the care process.Implement and modify treatment plans with proficiency, ensuring protocols are evidence-based and tailored to the patient's individual needs in the dynamic healthcare landscape.Document all patient interactions accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements, including goal-setting, treatment protocols, progress notes, and discharge planning.Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental objectives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in care.Actively engage in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote access to our rehabilitation services.Serve as a clinical instructor to students and assist in developing the next generation of therapists through mentorship and training.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient population includes a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, all striving to regain their strength, function, and independence. Your role will be pivotal in helping them achieve their recovery goals and return to their daily activities.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is mandatory.Preferred ExperienceWhile prior work experience is not explicitly required, candidates who have completed internships in orthopedic settings or have relevant clinical rotation experiences will be favored.
