HOME HARDLINES/ORDER CLERK

Job Title

Maintain the check stand ends, power panel (wing), outrigger, crossover merchandise, clip/swing (strip) displays, and gift card displays for the location and provide customer service. Responsibilities

1. Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
2. Order merchandise and maintain/stock all clips/swing (strips), power panels and check stand ends, crossovers and gift cards per schematic
3. Verify Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) orders are complete
4. Perform Replenishment Management System (RMS) requests
5. Coordinate with HBA and GRO Order Clerk to establish Minimums in Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) for Impulse Items
6. Comply with stockroom maintenance standards
7. Order and maintain displays for cross-over merchandise
8. Order off-shelf merchandise
9. Maintain compliance with divisional signing, recovery, shrink control guidelines, merchandising standards, ticketing standards, planograms, and composites
10. Receive and process freight
11. Perform inventory control functions
12. Verify promotions are set to standard
13. Conduct stock counts
14. Maintain accurate On Hands for Replenishment and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) items
15. Process product deletions
16. Verify accuracy in pricing integrity
17. Comply with corporate policies
18. Promote and follow Company initiatives
19. Maintain awareness of overstock/understock conditions to maintain ordering system integrity
20. Respond to verbal customer comments/complaints
21. Maintain compliance of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) standards
22. Verify all planograms are completed on time
23. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

Minimum

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of six months company experience and one-two years related retail experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work weekends/graveyard shifts on an occasional basis, early shifts, and overtime as needed
• Maintain confidentiality
• Accuracy/attention to detail
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
• Ability to perform applications in MAGIC and Handheld
• Proficient with current Company email
• Familiarity with industry/technical terms/processes
• Ability to work within set time frames/fixed deadlines
• Lift truck certification/license
