Branch Manager II

Pay Range: $63,925.00 - $85,250.00 Role Overview Oversees a Tier II or Tier III branch. Serves as a leader and role model, delivering exceptional customer service while promoting and offering bank products that meet customer needs. Manages, coaches, and motivates the branch team to achieve sales objectives, ensuring profitability, growth, and successful operation of the branch. Builds outside business relationships through business calls and supports initiatives from other bank partners. Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, and develop a high‑performing branch team; conduct annual reviews, set individual goals, and propose salary recommendations. Coach staff on sales, participate in branch sales activities, and attain team and individual sales goals. Provide customer services such as opening accounts, processing loan applications, and referring inquiries to the appropriate service partner. Represent the bank in the community, holding leadership roles in civic and community organizations. Maintain integrity and compliance with audit and branch operations policies and procedures. Decide on loan approvals and resolve customer complaints, exercising sound judgment within established guidelines. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications 4‑year college degree or equivalent retail, retail banking, or financial services experience. Prior sales management experience. Business development and outside business sales experience. Excellent listening, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer‑relation skills. Strong leadership and management abilities. Problem‑solving / decision‑making skills. Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment. Job Characteristics and Requirements Travel: less than 50%. Driver’s License required; reliable transportation required. NMLS Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire. Physical Requirements Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Stationary 50% of the time. Move about within or between locations. Bend, twist, crouch, squat.
