Details Work in the Surgery/Operating Room unit of an acute care hospital setting Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Call required 5 times within a 6-week period, including weekends EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS certification from an approved vendor required Minimum three years of recent experience in the OR specialty, within the last three months BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred ACLS and PALS certifications required Skills checklist specific to OR specialty completed within the past year required for consideration Two supervisor references required, one from the past year and one from the past two years Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned surgical patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and humane care Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients, families, and treatment team members Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members Required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-744275.
