Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or a defined group of patients using the nursing process and established standards.
- Assess data, identify care needs, and develop a plan of care; implement and monitor interventions.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of licensed and unlicensed staff; collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely care.
- Document patient assessments, plans, and progress in the electronic health record; participate in discharge planning and patient education.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment, adjust care plans as directed, and advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Contribute to a safe, healing environment by communicating clearly with patients, families, and the care team.

Requirements
- Current California RN license
- BLS/CPR certification required
- ACLS and AHA-PALS certified required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum two years of recent ER/acute care experience
- BSN preferred
