Material Handler - Fork Lift Operator

Description:
Arcadia Beverage, in Arden, NC, is a pasteurized cold fill scale contract packager of non-alcoholic / non-carbonated beverages for major retailers and food service distributors. We make orange juices, lemonades, and teas in ready to drink bottles.

We are currently looking for an energetic, dedicated and flexible, Material Handler (Fork Lift Operators) to join our outstanding team!. Material Handler (Loader) will be mainly loading trucks. Both roles also includes GMP cleaning responsibilities, inventory counting and computer usage. The positions would be Full Time (at least 40 hours per week) with the opportunity for Overtime, depending on plant volume and candidate's willingness to be flexible with schedule.

Loader base Schedule:
a. Sunday Tuesday 7:00 AM 6:30 PM, Wednesday 7:00 AM 1:30 PM (40 hours)
b.

Wednesday 7:00 AM - 6:30PM, Thursday - Saturday 12:00 pm - 6:30pm
c. Additional Potential Days: Wednesday (full day) / Thursday Saturday (depending on plant volume)
Overtime Opportunities Available

Main Activities:
Move finished goods pallets from production into the warehouse or from warehouse into trucks.
Operate manual and auto pallet wrappers.
Monitor label application accuracy on finished pallets.
Use RF Scanners and ERP system to move and enter data.
(Loaders) Prepare and process shipping paperwork and interact w/ truck drivers.
Prepare and take periodic cycle count inventory.
Identify and rework damaged materials.
Weekly warehouse and equipment cleaning tasks as directed.

Requirements:
More About You:
Forklift certification and experience or willingness to learn. Minimum of one year of forklift experience preferred.
Possess a sense of urgency, high energy, and a great attitude.
Show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
Can work in a steady and fast paced environment.
Manufacturing experience a plus.
