A hospital inpatient pharmacist position is available in a downtown medical facility specializing in LTAC/Rehab care, with many patients on ventilators. The role offers a month-to-month contract with a schedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week, ideally Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday availability is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure safe medication dispensing
• Consult with physicians regarding medication therapies and adjustments
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Experience in an inpatient hospital setting, particularly with LTAC or rehab patients
• Familiarity with Meditech pharmacy systems strongly preferred
• Ability to work locally with immediate availability to start (as early as the week of 6/1)

• Downtown Los Angeles, CA, conveniently located near Dodger Stadium
