Full-Time | Plano, TX

Pay:  $18–$19/hour  (All team members begin at $18/hour. Following successful completion of a 90-day training period, compensation increases to $19/hour based on satisfactory performance.)

Schedule: 30–40 hours per week

This position is scheduled for 30–40 hours per week. Office hours on Tuesday through Thursday are fixed and require availability during those scheduled times. Hours on Monday and Friday offer flexibility and can be adjusted to accommodate the employee's schedule, provided the agreed-upon weekly hours are met and assigned responsibilities are completed.

Dr. Keila Nichols teaches educational classes throughout the year as part of our commitment to serving and educating families. During the fall, she teaches a 5-week evening class series (held once per week), and during the spring, she teaches a 10-week evening class series (also held once per week). Attendance and support during these classes is a required part of this position, so candidates must be available to work these scheduled evening hours.

Dr. Keila Nichols is seeking an organized, dependable, compassionate, and highly motivated individual to join our growing pediatric chiropractic practice.

Our mission is to serve families with excellence by providing a natural approach to pediatric care. We provide an alternative to cranial bands/helmets for babies with cranial deformations, always using gentle techniques while responding with patience, compassion, and understanding when babies feel stressed. We strive to build lasting, mentoring relationships with the families we serve, empowering them through education and teaching natural alternatives to drugs and surgery whenever appropriate. We believe exceptional care extends beyond the adjustment, and we are committed to creating a fun, positive, and productive team environment that reflects the love of Christ in the way we serve one another and our patients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting and assisting patients and their families
• Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
• Assisting with patient check-in and check-out
• Supporting Dr. Nichols during patient visits
• Educating new patient families about office procedures and recommendations
• Composing, proofreading, formatting, and editing reports, educational materials, presentations, correspondence, and other written communications (excellent writing, grammar, composition, and editing skills are required)
• Assisting with seminars, workshops, and educational events
• Providing personal and administrative support to Dr. Nichols
• Helping maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

• Is naturally calm, patient, and nurturing around infants, including babies who may be crying, fussy, or under stress
• Genuinely enjoys working with babies, children, and their families
• Composing, proofreading, formatting, and editing reports, educational materials, presentations, correspondence, and other written communications (excellent writing, grammar, composition, and editing skills are required)
• Is an excellent problem solver who enjoys identifying challenges, finding practical solutions, and continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency within the practice
• Is naturally tech-savvy and enjoys using technology to stay organized, improve efficiency, and solve problems. Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, Drive), Microsoft Excel, and other office software is essential.
• Is highly organized and detail-oriented
• Takes initiative and follows through without constant supervision
• Thinks proactively and anticipates needs before they arise
• Communicates professionally, confidently, and compassionately
• Is dependable, trustworthy, and committed to excellence

Experience with natural healthcare, chiropractic, pediatric care, personal/administrative assistance, customer service, social media and marketing, process improvement, or office operations is a plus. However, character, work ethic, integrity, and a genuine heart for serving families are more important than experience. We are happy to train the right person.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent movement throughout the office and occasional lifting of infant carriers or office supplies.

Candidates should be comfortable working closely with infants throughout the day and remain calm, compassionate, and reassuring during normal situations involving crying babies, spit-up, diaper changes, or anxious parents.
