Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Red Roof Inn and help create a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests and staff. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all designated areas. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellence will ensure that every space reflects our commitment to quality hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors as needed to uphold safety and aesthetics.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times.
• Adhere to established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to promote a healthy environment for guests and staff.
• Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards.
• Support housekeeping management in inventory control, scheduling, and training new team members to foster a cohesive team environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor careband industrial cleaning methods.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service principles to deliver exceptional cleanliness with a friendly attitude.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while following health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure no area is overlooked.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and moving heavy items when necessary.
